Tell us about how you contribute currently, and how you would contribute if WMF were to gift a used laptop to you.

Wikimedia Czech Republic, of which I am a board member, is a proud organizer of projects such as Seniors Write Wikipedia and Students Write Wikipedia, but our lessons depend on hardware support of hosting organizations. Wikimedia CZ has had a new ofice since the beginning of this year. So we have a space where we can provide trainings and be more independent and flexible by hosting trainings, but we do not have computers. Our focus is to use laptops for our trainings to raise new Wikipedians.

Therefore we would humbly ask for 3 laptops. Such number, together with one laptop that we already have, and two small chromebooks, would enable us to hold small training workshops.

3. Laptops can be very useful because a lot of seniors don´t have their own laptops at home so we can borrow it and seniors can write from their´s place as well.They can edit more (not only during courses and wikiclub) and have bigger impact for Wikipedia.--Gabriela Boková (WMCZ) (talk) 10:25, 20 March 2017 (UTC)
