How do I search in a specific namespace?

The page says one can search for external links in a specific namespace, but doesn't say how ... --DStoykov 04:46, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

Could we add that feature? It would be extremely helpful to only search article space for a specific link on domains that contain lots of links (like say blogspot being in namespace, 99 times out of 100 it shouldn't be there)--Crossmr 02:27, 27 June 2010 (UTC)

Linkseach not reporting secure links?

Hi, have been working at cleaning out some spam and one of the links was a secure link that Linksearch did not report. As an experiment I set up in a sandbox the link:

• http://www.faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaakelink.com

Linksearch reports it. Add the 's' to make it a secure link:

• https://www.faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaakelink.com

Wildcards within URLs?

The following doesn't seem to work:

blog.*.playstation.com

But the following two do work:

blog.us.playstation.com

blog.eu.playstation.com

Searching for links within a specific namespace

Is there any way to adjust this so that I can search for links within a specific namespace only? For example if I want to exclude user pages or only search within mainspace pages. If there's no way to do that currently it may be something to program in the future. Themfromspace 09:56, 9 December 2010 (UTC)

2+ years later I'm coming back to ask for the same thing. This would make many users' work a whole lot easier if someone incorporated the namespace search that is used on special:watchlist and special:contributions.
