From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

The Movement Strategy and Governance team of the Wikimedia Foundation will host a global conversations event on the concept of Hubs on March 12, 2022. It is the second event focusing specifically on Hubs, the first one was the co-creation workshop on November 27, 2021.

Event details

[edit]
Findings summary of the Hubs Dialogue, for presentation at the 12th March Global Conversations.

This Global Conversations event will bring Wikimedians together to discuss the findings from the Hubs Dialogue: a series of conversations facilitated by the Movement Strategy and Governance team designed to answer the question: What are the generally shared and context-specific needs among the Wikimedians exploring the hub concept?

The aim of the event is to share the findings of the Dialogue with the Movement, ensure that they reflect Wikimedians’ lived experiences, and from this shared understanding, start discussing how the findings can be integrated into the Movement Charter drafting process.

What do we expect from participants? We will share the findings of the conversations held with groups that are working on establishing a Hub in their context and we would like participants to listen in, understand, and reflect on these findings.

Date + Time: 13:00 to 16:00 UTC, March 12, 2022

Program: see below

Simultaneous interpretation: Arabic, French, Spanish, Russian, and Portuguese

Registration: Closed on March 10!
