Imperial College Orientation Program
Imperial College in Bargarh is one of the prominent colleges for Undergraduate degree in Bargarh, the college comes under the affiliation of Sambalpur University.On 11th February 2017, an Odia Wikipedia workshop was organized on the campus of Imperial College.

The theme of the event was to introduce Odia Wikipedia, Wikimedia Projects, to the students of Imperial College and spread awareness on Wikipedia in Western Odisha.

With over more than 60 participants the workshop was mainly a Wikipedia Orientation program for the students which provided a better idea of the movement to them. The process of digitisation was explained to the students and how they can use the digitisation skill for the preservation of language was introduced. There was interest among the participants to take part in the digitisation sprint for the Dadhibamana Pothi digitisation project.
Participation[edit]
More than 60 students participated in seminar hall for the orientation of Odia Wikipedia and the journey of Odia Wikipedia. The participants and faculty members showed their interest in the digitization of Pothis or the manuscripts in the Dadhibamana Temple.
