Re-licensing in Maharashtra -Marathi Fortnight is celebrated in Maharashtra from 14-28 January and Language Day on 27 February. Every year we conduct workshops in the state. This year it was not possible due to pandemics. So, we planned a re-licensing appeal campaign on these occasions. The appeals were sent to various groups, authors, heirs/copyright holders, publishing houses, NGOs, etc. The links of previous content donations were circulated. In the period, we got encouraging responses from six authors. Total of 16 books were scanned and uploaded.

Below the proofreading developments of the last three month January 2021 - March 2021


  • No visible development is shown in Odia and Malayalam Wikisource.
  • In Sanskrit and Kannada Wikisource, they have the text of 22394 and 21038 numbers without scan page supported text exist respectively, it shows their content quality low. The community should work in this area in the coming months.
  • As per proofread stats the top 3 communities are as below.
