Maithili Wikimedians User Group (MWUG) completed its first year on 8 February 2017. To celebrate the occasion, Maithili Wikimedians team members have organized an event to facilitate the members of Maithili Wikimedians User Group (MWUG) on 11th Feb 2017 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. During the event, T-Shirts have been distributed, Tea & Snacks was served to all the participants over there. During the programme, the Group Members discussed: About how to expanding the group? To raise an awareness of the Gender gap in the on Wikipedia. All the Wikimedians have shared their experience and contributions to Wikipedia. How to improve the articles of Maithili Wikipedia? How to make an effective articles in Maithili Wikipedia In the programme, Maithili Wikimedians spoke about the need for a Maithili Wikipedia and its importance.
