Wiki Women Edit-a-thon is an online Edit-a-thon competition organized on Maithili Wikipedia on the occasion of International Women's Day 2018. The competition was organized from March 8, 2018 to March 22, 2018. The main aim of the competition is to create articles about notable women on Maithili Wikipedia as well as to address the content gaps.
Maithili Wikimedians is organizing Women Edit-a-thon annually since 2015 to create locally relevant and high-quality content about notable Women's in Maithili Wikipedia.
Rules
The article should be edited between March 8, 2018, 0:00 and May 22, 2018, 23:59 (NST).
The article should be at least 2,500 bytes and at least 80 words in length.(exclude Infobox, template etc.)
The article must have decent references; doubtful or controversial statements in the article should be verifiable by the citation(s) listed in that article.
The article must not be purely machine translated and should be properly copyedited.
There must be no major issues with the article (no copyright violations, questions of notability, etc.)
The article should be informative and related to notable Women's.
