Brussels is the capital of Belgium.
Brussels is Dutch/French bilingual. More than 143,000 people live in the city itself; some 1 million live in the city's region. As the capital of Belgium, it is the seat of national government and the location for coronations and royal weddings. Brussels is also the seat of several organisations of the European Union.
