間違った情報と虚偽の情報を減らし、影響を特定する
影響力のあるテーマの特定の一部として、私たちは誤情報と偽情報の影響を理解し、両方を減らす必要があります。
ウィキメディア・プロジェクトの影響を検討すると、ウィキメディアの良い効果だけではなく、間違った情報や詐欺によって、コンテンツがどのようにして利用者に害を与えるか、深く理解できるでしょう。（たとえば、ウィキペディアの政治的テーマに偽情報を付け加えるキャンペーン） コミュニティーや研究者、パートナーは誤情報や偽情報に対処ツールを開発するために、相互に協力して議論し働くよう努力する必要があります。
- （たとえば誤情報や偽情報、あるいは詐欺といった）重要な危害を与え得る前兆を見つけることで、私たちのプロジェクトがどのような方法で誤用されたり悪用されるか理解する。
