I'd like to help out on OTRS because I am extremely talented person on wikipedia. I would like to give permission to the free images. I am very strict about the laws. I would mostly be helping with Commons.

What "talents" do you have that would be of use to OTRS? Also, you state you wish you "give permission to the free images". Are you saying you would like to submit work to Wikipedia and Commons via OTRS? If so, you do not need to be an OTRS agent to do that. Tiptoety talk 05:55, 11 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

I'd like to help out on OTRS because I believe we need more people for permissions-commons-es. I have a decent knowledge about licensing and I have already had my identity verified with the foundation (checkuser on eswiki). Users on es.wiki and on every place else can provide examples of my being polite at all times. I'm not very active in my main project right now, but I believe I can devote some of my time where my experience is really needed. Alhen 20:10, 10 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

He's also an admin at commons, so he should be sufficiently knowledgeable regarding copyright questions. I recruited him, we really need more spanish speakers --DieBuche

Hi, I am Hindi Wikipedia user and I want to help OTRS issues which comes from that site and its users. I can reply to queries of Wiki users in both Hindi and English and I think that I can help a lot as I am good in public relations, a field I work in. Wikisidd 19:54, 14 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

I'd like to help out on OTRS because I find the project needs volunteers Arabs and competent, I find myself in the capacity to assist in this. My volunteering for OTRS comes from my belief in my competence and my capacity to assist in this project, as well as my ability to communicate with Arabic speakers in an adequate level. • Support Support. I strongly Support Sharaf Al Deen, he's been a very active and engaged member of ar.wp, the Arabic queue has been doing better lately, but still not at the response time that other queues enjoy. --Shipmaster 15:21, 21 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

I like to help out as an OTRS volunteer, because as a native Bengali speaker, I can help with Bengali related issues. I am familiar with all four Bengali projects. My home wiki is Bengali Wikipedia (which also is my primary wiki). Our projects does not have an OTRS volunteer yet. I would like to help with Info-bn and permission-bn, which need to be created. I would like to help with the backlog of permission-commons too. :) — Tanvir • 17:54, 20 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

I'd like to help out as an OTRS volunteer because I want to help about administrating "permissions-commons-tr", "permissions-commons-lv", "permissions-commons-sr" and "permissions-commons-en" (However I believe more people are not needed for en)

I would be honored to help with OTRS because I know there is a lot of work to be done and I want to help with this cause. I love the concept of open source and copyleft. Some issues of particular interest to help with are beginner's problems, copyright issues, and issues with Wikisource. Of course, I am open to work on anything I am capable of. I took two years of Spanish in high school, but I am basically worthless when it comes to Spanish. I put my babel box as a es-0 to reflect that. I recognize words here and there that is about it. I hope that helps. -- Mattwj2002 18:23, 2 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

According the user's SUL, he has administrative rights in English Wikisource. — Tanvir • 11:39, 2 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

  • Matt is fantastic with newbies and knows his way around the sister projects (both the content and the people). With Wikisource as his home project, he is known to be careful about copyright, and both recognises corner cases and knows who to discuss them with, so I expect he will quickly become useful on commons queues. In addition to sister project work, I think he would enjoy picking up the simple en-wiki quality issues in due course. John Vandenberg 09:58, 6 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
  • It would be great to have a Wikisourceror helping in the sister projects queue. In my experience Matt is unfailingly positive and helpful, and he would be a nice addition. Dominic 17:36, 25 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

I'd like to help out on OTRS because I want to support the box on the copyrights (permissions-pl). I've worked on OTRS in the past.

I'd like to help out on OTRS because I believe I can do the job well. I enjoy helping people and already do so at the #wikipedia-en-help IRC channel, as well as on-wiki. Hopefully I can make a difference in reducing the amount of work the team does. -- OlEnglish (Talk) 14:37, 19 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
