Wikids
[edit]Re. an online encyclopedia for children: It appears that for various reasons, Wikipedia is not quite the place to get such a project launched. Perhaps if we can get one underway elsewhere, it will generate enough interest and support that it can be ported back to the Wikispaces environment in the future. To this end I have revamped my http://wikidia.wikispaces.com Wikidia wiki, with the aim of recruiting contributors and helping them get a children's encyclopedia off the ground. I have produced an example topic, http://wikids-life.wikispaces.com/ Life, which gives a feel for the sort of thing that can be accomplished. Please take a look, and consider helping. You can get back to me at WikiSpaces or at my discussion page here. Barry Desborough 17:33, 6 February 2011 (UTC)

The Community Wishlist Survey
[edit]Hi,
You get this message because you’ve previously participated in the Community Wishlist Survey. I just wanted to let you know that this year’s survey is now open for proposals. You can suggest technical changes until 11 November: Community Wishlist Survey 2019.
You can vote from November 16 to November 30. To keep the number of messages at a reasonable level, I won’t send out a separate reminder to you about that. /Johan (WMF) 11:24, 30 October 2018 (UTC)
