Learning[edit]

Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:

  • What worked well? The training went well. Participants were active and learned Wikidata. They practiced at the venue with the list of items the facilitator built. The online training also went well with participants showing more skills in Wikidata. More than 500 items were created and improved
  • What did not work so well? About 3 intended participants did not attend the in-person event. The idea of registering participants before the event did not work well. The fact that the data was not given on the day of the event did not work well. The list had to be reviewed to remove names that did not attend to add new ones. The practice did not go down well with the participants. Some participants did not register on the dashboard
  • What would you do differently next time? Appealing to the participants to bear with the new rule of data reimbursement. Ensuring that all participants register on the dashboard.

No

There is no left over

Anything else[edit]

Anything else you want to share about your project?

I want to appeal that data reimbursement be included in the budget. It causes friction in the program.
