Learning[edit]

Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:

  • What worked well?
The training sessions focused on open knowledge were remarkably successful. Participants exhibited high levels of engagement, displaying attentiveness and a strong commitment to adhering to the provided guidelines. The training sessions were enriched with interactive demonstrations that facilitated a robust exchange of questions and answers, contributing to a productive learning environment.
  • What did not work so well?
One notable challenge we encountered was a the technical glitches and shortage power of electricity supply due to the low budget event hall.
  • What would you do differently next time?
In planning future events, we intend to implement strategies aimed at mitigating the issue of low event attendance. Specifically, we will carefully select event dates that align more favorably with participants' academic schedules, thus increasing the likelihood of higher in-person turnout. Moreover, we will explore innovative methods to boost online and physical participation and engagement to compensate for potential limitations in physical attendance, ensuring the success and inclusivity of our knowledge-sharing endeavors.

Anything else[edit]

Anything else you want to share about your project?

It's important to emphasize that there is, indeed, a rising enthusiasm and interest among young individuals to become more engaged in the Wikimedia movement. This heightened interest can be attributed largely to the unique recognition and appreciation of hard work and commitment by the facilitators. I'm also looking forward to host another impactful project to bridge significant content gap.
