Pilot deployed. I'm checking up on the logging to make sure we see a jump in VE usage by newly registered users after the deploy time (~2015-05-21 @ 1500 UTC).

Just realized I never confirmed with the VE team whether even or odd user_ids would be in the VE condition. It looks like this query can answer the question. We see that, once the 1500 UTC hour starts, there's a dramatic rise in the number of events from visual editor for newcomers who registered on the desktop site (2 --> 88 and the hour is only half-way done). We can also see that this happens for users with user_id % 2 == 0 (evens). Cool! It looks like it is doing what it is supposed to. --Halfak (WMF) (talk) 15:36, 21 May 2015 (UTC)
