SOPA social media
Appearance
The blackout was an amazing opportunity to gain more followers on the Wikipedia/Wikimedia social media channels, and use those channels to really spread the message. Twitter followers for @wikipedia grew by ~10,000, and the Wikipedia Facebook page gained about 30,000 new fans. Now is the time to stay on top of the social media channels to continue to grow their followship so those tools can really be used as a way to amplify and spread messages from Wikipedia/Wikimedia.
