Participants of Sambad Women and Health Edit-a-thon

Sambad Health and Women Edit-a-tho was an offline edit-a-thon held in the month of April in collaboration with the Sambad media house, Odia Wikimedia User Group and the Center for Internet and Society. The event was a two day long edit-a-thon, on the first day near about 8 journalists from the Sambad group took part in the orientation and on the second day 18 editors (new and existing) wrote articles on Odia Wikipedia.

Theme

The event was follow up of the previous year’s 100 women edit-a-thon which aimed to write articles on Women related topics and Women achievers of Odisha. The theme of this years' edit-a-thon was to write articles on Women Health, Hygiene including social challenges.

Participants

Near about 20 staffs and 6 Wikimedians from Bhubaneswar took part in the event.
