Wikimedia Foundation Inc. has been subject to widespread criticism by Wikimedia editors.

The Wikimedia Foundation has a "Trust & Safety" team. This team has been summarily warning and banning editors lately. Many of these editors have been highly critical of the Wikimedia Foundation.

mw:Code of Conduct#Report a problem includes the phrases "Your account of the incident", "A description of the unacceptable behavior", and "Screenshots showing what happened". It appears that asking for links and documentation regarding alleged incidents or problematic behavior is a fairly standard and reasonable practice.

James Alexander says that information regarding alleged complaints cannot be shared with the accused. A key question is: why not? If the accused is involved in the alleged incidents, how is it a privacy issue to provide links and documentation as evidence?
