Structured Data On Commons/Event
Structured Data On Commons is multilingual information about a media file that can be understood by humans, with enough consistency that it can also be uniformly processed by machines. Files on wiki commons described with multilingual using concept wikidata.
In the global south (in the context of Ghana) most of our contents (files,images etc) are not structured properly on the repository of all images and files (wikicommons) which has made it difficult to search for images. If images and files are structured it will easy search.
Background[edit]
We will have a training session where volunteers would be equipped with the tools used to structure that on commons. We will have two training sessions, after the training session volunteers would be provide with unstructured data on commons which has to be structured.
