Talk:Best practices in giving a Wikipedia presentation

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

I am always wary and saddened when the scope of pages like this is confined to Wikipedia. Could this page not be moved to "Best practices in giving a Wikimedia presentation? —Anonymous DissidentTalk 16:29, 15 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thank you very much for your feedback. I had the same idea earlier (being a big fan of some of our smaller projects). But "Wikimedia" sounds like it was about giving a presentation about the Wikimedia Foundation or one of the chapters. Perhaps we can start "Best practices in giving a Wikisource <or another project's name> presentation" as well. That would give us the opportunity to highlight some of the smaller project's strengths. --Frank Schulenburg 16:42, 15 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Mmm... perhaps. I rather think having other pages like this for every sister project would be quite redundant, though. —Anonymous DissidentTalk 16:53, 15 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
