Add topicI'm not going to edit it directly, because my browser is just going to screw up all the extended characters (I'm assuming obviously that the fault lies at my end :-), but the link to the Cherokee Wikipedia is screwed up: someone prepended a "www." to it. --Phil | Talk 10:41, 8 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Fixed, but you bring up a good point. Not everyone who speaks Cherokee is likely to have the font installed to write and display the Cherokee alphabet. It can't be that uncommon, though -- I have it purely by accident. If the letters weren't displaying correctly by default, I would have no idea how to download a font and make it work. - There are several Cherokee-supporting Unicode fonts available. I installed a couple of them yesterday that I got from the Cherokee Wikipedia page (which is, regrettably, all in English, but that was good for me!) on Unicode. What I need now is a keyboard solution that doesn't cost $20 ;-) ... Or even a clue on &#...; aliases. dzidzelalic --63.229.0.55 8 July 2005 18:11 (UTC)
