I'm not going to edit it directly, because my browser is just going to screw up all the extended characters (I'm assuming obviously that the fault lies at my end :-), but the link to the Cherokee Wikipedia is screwed up: someone prepended a "www." to it. --Phil | Talk 10:41, 8 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Fixed, but you bring up a good point. Not everyone who speaks Cherokee is likely to have the font installed to write and display the Cherokee alphabet. It can't be that uncommon, though -- I have it purely by accident. If the letters weren't displaying correctly by default, I would have no idea how to download a font and make it work. I'll see if I can figure it out. TUF-KAT 17:08, 8 Oct 2004 (UTC)
There are several Cherokee-supporting Unicode fonts available. I installed a couple of them yesterday that I got from the Cherokee Wikipedia page (which is, regrettably, all in English, but that was good for me!) on Unicode. What I need now is a keyboard solution that doesn't cost $20 ;-) ... Or even a clue on &#...; aliases. dzidzelalic --63.229.0.55 8 July 2005 18:11 (UTC)
