Talk:CentralNotice/Wiktionary logo vote

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

In this notice appears only the book logo on the left of the message. It's simply unfair. There must be the tile logo on the right too (see for example wikt:en:MediaWiki:Sitenotice or wikt:it:MediaWiki:Sitenotice) --Diuturno 09:18, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've now noticed that in the code the image is present, but in fact it's not loaded. Why? --Diuturno 09:53, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
At the moment it links to the SVG image directly, it ought to link to a PNG thumbnail such as http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/9/9f/Wiktprintable_without_text.svg/100px-Wiktprintable_without_text.svg.png Conrad.Irwin 23:11, 7 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
This was fixed by MZMcBride. Cbrown1023 talk 00:03, 8 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Scope[edit]

It should be clarified that the vote is for the logo of all the Wiktionaries, not just the one they saw the site notice on. At least one user is voting for the book logo because the tiles logo is already used on some other Wiktionaries. (The thinking could go the other way too, of course.) – Minh Nguyễn (talk, contribs) 08:57, 9 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Added a little clarification, but I think your revamp of the page will really help this. Cbrown1023 talk 20:30, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
