I also think this would be useful. Maybe it hasn't been done because then vandalism would more easily sneek in. I found it often finds its way intro structured data regardless and SDC is largely inferrable and duplicative of the categories. Considering that and how extremely rare SDC edits on WMC seem to be even when you have many thousands of files on your watchlist, an alternative approach would be to only hide SDC edits done with tools like AC/DC (at least when done by established users) that usually edit many files at once and could be a problem if you have many affected files on your watchlist.
