Test 2: Landing Page Format questions:[edit]

1) Dates:- Depending on the results for the Test 1 this Friday, we may want to think about re-scheduling the Test 2 for a weekday as well.

2) Templates: - Would you have a preference for the height size of the landscape boxes? - 25% split for each LP, Wikipedia project, anonymous only (pls confirm) Ppena (WMF) 19:33, 19 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Test 2/3 focus question/comment[edit]

You may want to think about narrowing down the tests 1 one LP change (doing a simple A/B test). A LP test for an hour is hard enough to get enough donations for a viable/statistically significant test it is highly likely that if you have multiple variables it will not be significant even with another hour or something. Great work![edit]

Great work with these tests, guys! I'm particularly glad to see you are managing to get direct debits working well - I think there is a lot of potential there. --Tango 16:25, 9 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Linking to the banners & landing pages used[edit]

Just a quick note: I can imagine that people looking at this page in the future will find links to the banners and landing pages used in the tests to be rather useful in determining whether it's worth running the test again or not (e.g. so that they can determine themselves whether tweaking other things on the banners/pages might result in the opposite test result). The downside is that it's more work to add those links to the test results, though - and it's probably better to put that time into doing additional tests. ;-) So I'm just making a suggestion for consideration here.
