Sorry, I didn't understand how to translate these lines. Here are translations for Tatar: Help decide about more than $ 10 million of Wikimedia donations - 10 миллион доллардан артык иганә акчалары язмышын хәл итәргә ярдәм итегез. Nominate yourself for the Funds Dissemination Committee (FDC) by August 15 - 15 августка кадәр үзегезне Фондны Куллану Комитетына (FDC) тәкъдим итегез. The English language version is worded badly

"Help decide about more than $ 10 million of Wikimedia donations" isn't good grammar, and doesn't make it clear what the purpose of this is. I'd suggest changing the wording to something like "Help decide how more than $ 10 million of donations to Wikimedia should be allocated". Nick-D (talk) 08:25, 14 August 2012 (UTC)

Translation doesn't update automatically

A user provided a translation for Esperanto. I corrected some mistakes in it, however the wrong version is still displayed. I don't know how to manage to get the system replace the wrong version by the corrected.

By the way, it is amazing that an announcement with a deadline on August 15th is displayed only on August the 13th on "small" Wikipedias as the Esperanto one. I suppose that in "big" Wikipedias the announcement was known earlier. So in Wikimedia projects there are VIP big Wikipedians who may know news in right time, and little undermen who are noticed after facts has occurred. --Arno Lagrange ✉ 05:53, 15 August 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the corrections. I updated the banner, but any Meta administrator can do so, as described on the translation page.

The Esperanto Wikipedia, along with practically all other Wikimedia projects, was notified on July 19, see eo:Vikipedio:Diskutejo#Help_decide_about_more_than_.2410_million_of_Wikimedia_donations_in_the_coming_year. As the term "last call" indicates, the main purpose here is to remind people who may already have heard about the FDC and pondered to volunteer for it that the deadline is imminent, although if the banner also makes more Wikimedians aware of this important change, that could be regarded as an not entirely negative side effect.
