[edit]This is to solicit your input for an application process towards this interesting project of training volunteers from different walks of life for an edit-a-thon on Africa's female changemakers. This project will enable us to increase the content of female personalities who have contributed to the development of their societies and countries at large. Ghanaian Languages Wikimedia Community Meetup 2024
[edit]Dear Wikimedians,
We are delighted to announce the second edition of the Ghanaian Languages Meetup, a yearly meetup for all language Wikimedians.
The Ghanaian Languages Meetup is organised by a group of Language Wikimedia communities in Ghana. It will be held in Tamale from 26th July to 28th July 2024.
The mini-conference is designed to bring together Wikimedians working on the indigenous languages of Wikipedia in Ghana. The conference will also serve as a platform for various communities to learn about volunteer recruitment, retention, and community and leadership development.
We invite all Wikimedians and individuals interested in open knowledge to join us for the second edition of the conference. Scholarship to attend the meetup is still open. Please apply here Awinebotima (talk) 11:18, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
Notification of Grant Application on Edit-a-thon for Biographies of African Innovators and Change Makers
[edit]After a physical discussion on the need for this application, I request for your input if any for the grant application "edit-a-thon on the Biographies of African Innovators and changemakers". As indicated in our discussions, This project will enable us to increase the biographies of Africans who have contributed conspicuously to the development and social wellbeing of their respective societies but are yet to be recognized especially our gallant female change makers. I look forward to your suggestions and insightful contributions. Hasslaebetch (talk) 02:14, 2 May 2025 (UTC)
Strong support this grant will make difference in Moore Wikimedia Community and I wholeheartedly support its approval@

Strong support This grant application is a conscious step towards reengaging the mos.wikipedia.org and the participants again after it has gone silent quite recently. Since the community is weaned from the dagbani user group, participants will be eager to contribute to this wikivibrance campaign that sought to engage them to bridge the content gap between Innovators and politicians on the site and also male and female change makers. I look forward to this campaign.
- Jeswunde (talk) 07:20, 2 May 2025 (UTC)
Strong support This grant is a crucial step in reviving Moore Wikimedia and reconnecting contributors. The WikiVibrance campaign will bridge gaps between innovators, politicians, and change makers, fostering meaningful contributions. Strong support for this initiative—it will make a lasting impact!
- Raizkgh (talk) 20:38, 2 May 2025 (UTC)
Strong support this grant initiative will truly benefit the community and help keep it active, especially since we haven't had any activities for quite some time. It will also bring contributors together to participate actively. I fully support this initiative and sincerely hope it comes to fruition.
