Talk:Multilingual error messages/Translations

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

Oops, only saw now that only major languages were intended after I translated into Afrikaans (af). Feel free to remove if only major languages will be used. --Alias 15:06, 26 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Shouldn't the Wikipedia Status at OpenFacts be linked [1]? --Habakuk 20:00, 7 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The removal of the OpenFacts link was one of the driving forces behind this change: every time Wikipedia even had a momentary downtime, OpenFacts would be overloaded with users and crash, so it was pretty much inaccessible whenever the error message appeared anyway. - Mark Ryan 05:03, 6 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Farsi Translation[edit]

Hi. I've translated Farsi text of the error message. May it help. And one more thing, remember that Farsi is a rtl language. It's essential so that the text wouldn't be humble-jumble specially when some non-rtl characters are available in text. --Shervinafshar 12:59, 9 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
