Talk:Placetime markup

There are two possible approaches to timezones

  1. Mark all times UTC and just include the timezone the event occourred in
  2. Mark all times in local time and include the offset from UTC, so that user defined display conversions can be made (you might want to see all events converted to your own timezone)

Which approach is better is unclear.

An additional question is what to do about events which physically span timezones.
