"Substub articles must be speedily deleted on sight."

that's nonsense. a properly tagged substub puts it on the radar of the stub-sorters, and fixes red links. If there should be an article, a substub is better than nothing and should certainly not be deleted. Both creating substubs for topics not yet covered, and writing detailed articles is valuable work. People should be free to engage in either, depending on their taste. 10:17, 5 October 2005 (UTC)
