deletion?[edit]

Tulsi Bhagat, what do you mean not a translation? are you saying too much is not translated yet? (the software says 40%) that seems not the wiki way (save early and often) or that the parts that are done were not translated correctly? --Jeremyb (talk) 13:47, 2 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Jeremyb:, Tulsi deletion tag is correct, I've deleted that translation subpage about wrong translation, The word is "ترجمه دانشگاہ جامعه لاگواردیه" which actually means "Translated by Jamiya Logavada", while it should be translated from sentence "LaGuardia Community College Translatathon" to equivalent translation in farsi.--AldNonymousBicara? 14:01, 2 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
aha. how do you differentiate between a tag for the whole page vs. just a single translation unit/subpage? --Jeremyb (talk) 14:04, 2 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, @Jeremyb: you can read the detail here mw:Help:Extension:Translate/Page translation administration, this is all part of translation extension mw:Help:Extension:Translate.--AldNonymousBicara? 14:15, 2 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Aldnonymous: I don't see anything on either of those pages about deletion template tagging (just about actually deleting). --Jeremyb (talk) 15:07, 2 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Jeremyb:. Anything that put into subpages are transcluded/included into the main page, but if you just delete the subpages the translation on the main page gone. Same with tagging, if you place the deletion tag on the subpages, you can just delete the subpage. Translation subpage edits are invisible from recent changes just like bot edits, so you have to find the contribs from the user and find the subpage and tag it.--AldNonymousBicara? 16:03, 2 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
