Very preliminary first draft[edit]

This is a VERY preliminary page, just for me to be able to show to groups that are interested in supporting the campaign. There might be another way, but I could not figure it out in time. In particular, the links to the groups which will be participating will need to be identified.

The logo is not very good (a new one is being designed), there are small problems with style, but I plan to fix it during January 2019, as the organizations commit to help. Of course, help would be most welcome. At a minimum now I hope for understanding. Thanks!!! TMorata (talk) 23:36, 20 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Yay, almost there[edit]

Translations have started and soon we plan to add list of articles that need to be improved and articles which are in good shape in English to be translated. I love it all. TMorata (talk) 01:42, 19 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Wikivoyage[edit]

Could I encourage you all to add a little content to Wikivoyage as well? It can be hard for travelers to find quiet restaurants or hotels that support Deaf guests better than most, and I'd love to see this information added.

It can all be done positively, from a general perspective: the noisy bar has an "energetic atmosphere with live music", the quiet restaurant is a "good place for a conversation", and the hotel says to "text the concierge or front desk about whatever you need".

Editing Wikivoyage is usually very easy. In many cases, when you see a restaurant or hotel listing, you will see the word "edit" in small, gray type at the end. Click that, and it will give you a box that you can fill in with all the information you want. Usually, adding disability-related information just requires typing a sentence into the big description box in the middle, and then clicking the button to publish your change. It's one of the easiest ways to contribute, and can be very helpful. WhatamIdoing (talk) 18:31, 23 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Music on commons[edit]

phab:T208494 , on allowing uploads of music formats on Wikimedia Commons, might be of interest; playback and Braille music scores are on the list. HLHJ (talk) 22:35, 27 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
