city that will organize WikiArabia 2015[edit]

WikiArabia 2015 will be held in Tunisia, I propose that it be held in Tunis, because logistically is more easier then the City of Monastir --Touzrimounir (talk) 17:55, 15 September 2014 (UTC)

WikiArabia 2016[edit]

Why Dubai is a proposed city to host WikiArabia 2016?

I think it's better to organize this event in country with higher number of active Wikipedians or Wikimedians such as Jordan, Egypt or Algeria.

WikiArabia 2018 and 2019[edit]

Hi everyone,

For WikiArabia 2018, it is indicated that Iraq and Morocco were interested in holding the conference there. I assume this information is no longer up to date, as it is very late to be preparing for a conference in 2018. @Sarmad Yaseen:, can you confirm Iraq will not be hosting WikiArabia 2018? @Reda benkhadra:, can you confirm Morocco will not be hosting WikiArabia 2018?

As for WikiArabia 2019, Tunisia has indicated it will hold it there. @Dyolf77:, @Yamen:, is this still the case?

@Fjmustak: Yes we will. --Dyolf77 (talk) 20:30, 19 January 2018 (UTC)
Hello @Fjmustak: ! Thank you for having revived the discussion on the future of WikiArabia. As you have said, it is too late to hold a conference this year. In this sense, I confirm that our UG will not be able to host WikiArabia 2018, but we remain ready and available, if the organization of a conference is proposed to us or granted, especially in concordance with the principle of priority of those who never organized it, previously discussed here :) --Reda benkhadra (talk) 20:47, 19 January 2018 (UTC)

I would love to find a way to go. Pinging Mervat, do the Jordanians know anything about this? محمد آدم? And thank you to everyone who has been working on the article for child-bride en:Noura Hussein ar:قضية نورا حسين. Several international figures, including the en:Secretary-General of the United Nations have now given their support. She has not been executed yet, but who knows what will happen when Ramadan ends Thursday. (And a blessed Ramadan Kareem to everyone.) Avery Jensen (talk) 17:59, 10 June 2018 (UTC)
