Clarification request[edit]

The Wikimania Core Organising Team has reviewed you scholarship application can you please provide more detail about;

  1. Number of days = 7 -- why are there 7 days of data support when Wikimania including the hackathon will run for just 5 days?
  2. Volunteer stipend: 100 x 3 = ¢ 300 -- we understand the need for stipend for volunteers, what task or activity is expected from the volunteers who receive the stipend?

Thanks for your questions and find the answers to them below;

  1. Thanks for drawing my attention to the 5 days instead of 7 it was clearly an oversight which I would correct accordingly.
  1. Volunteers are expected to write reports, book venues for events, work on post-event presentations, getting lunch and sending out emails for participants. And then stipends are usually transportation stipends for volunteers working to make sure the event is successful.

I hope my explanation helps and I would make the necessary corrections to the days as well.
