Question from Wikimania COT Grant Team

Hi Bharathesha and Vishwanatha! Thanks for submitting your application and for planning your event. We are reviewing your application within the Wikimania COT Grant Team, and we have a question we wanted to ask:

• Could you provide more information about the nature of your planned post-Wikimania events? When will they be held? How will they be related to Wikimania? Was there a reason you decided to hold only one meetup during Wikimania but two events after the conference?

For context, this year Wikimania organizers are looking to put emphasis on bringing the Wikimedia community from across the world *during* the time of Wikimania. We might still fund post-Wikimania events as an exception – but for that we need to understand how they fit in the larger Wikimania context and why they are a better fit for your community than events during Wikimania.

Thank you for querry and educating us regarding the scholarship. We are replanning the event according to the Wikimedia community that will be conducting the event during the Wikimania. So I request you to reconsider our new plan.--Vishwanatha Badikana (talk) 17:37, 13 June 2022 (UTC)
