Eating some pizza after/during the welcome event?[edit]

Pizza, Wikipedia and Education!

Ciao! I'll repeat part of a suggestion I gave at outreach wiki.

"Hi all, here is Tom, who is coordinating the Education Program in Brasil as an independent consultant of Wikimedia Foundation. Since I am going to this great workshop LiAnna and Rod are organizing, I would like to propose a meeting following this one, Pizza, Wikipedia and Education!

It would be great to gather all Wikimedians attending to the Wikimedia Conference who are interested on the Wikipedia Education Program or other uses of Wikimedia projects for educational purposes. Last year, during the Wikimedia in DC, it was a wonderful surprise to see so many people interested in the Education Program, willing to discuss about it and share their experiences.

I love the idea on that red t-shirt "Wikimedia belongs to education" and this is a great opportunity for we talk to each other about that. And, why not, also eat some pizza while discussing. :) Would our Italian friends have some suggestion of places we could go for that?"

I've met two Italian professors these days in Brazil, and one of them suggested Fabbrica Pizzaria (is it worth trying some day?), which is far from Frida. Would someone like to go to some pizzaria to discuss Wikimedia and education? Suggestions? (Or can we ask some take away pizza at Frida? :P) --Tom (talk) 15:31, 12 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
