Talk:Wikimedia Conference 2015/Overview Eligibility Statuses

Wikimedia Community User Group Brasil[edit]

Wikimedia Community User Group Brasil, recent activity? Where? As I already point out, here in 2014 they did 2 activities (19/02/2014 — Palestra na Livraria Cultura em Porto Alegre and 18/01/2014 — WikiDay em várias cidades brasileiras) both individual initiative and one participation in a event (campus party, for obvious reasons, travel, participation in a big event, self-media....) Not even to send 2 representatives of the WUG they could send in the pass Wikimedia Conference, they send a WMF Staff A Brazilian Programme granted(??)... and all the other things are WMF Brazil Programme announces/activities.

So, again, how the WUG BR was renewed? And are in the "recent activities"? Rodrigo Tetsuo Argenton m 18:48, 21 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Rodrigo,
regarding the Eligibility Statuses of each Affiliate we follow the recommendation of the Affiliations Committee. Carlos Colina, chair of the Affiliations Committee, already replied to your questions on wikimedia-l. I hope this clarifies any doubt you might have. Best regards, --Cornelius Kibelka (WMDE) (talk) 09:24, 23 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Cornelius Kibelka, thank you for the answer, but I did not send any message to a mailing list, actually, I'm not even a subscribed to the mailing...
Do not clarified all doubts, however I get where did you get this information, just to you know, it's wrong, even the actual members was saying that; follow the thread [1]
And the Carlos Colina's answer it is a even worst scenario, because the last discussion there was "who requested the renewal" and one of the "Proposal's organizers" wrote: "Eu não pedi e até onde sei ninguém pediu." [2] pt >>> en I did not request and as far I know, no one did.
Thanks for your time. Rodrigo Tetsuo Argenton m 18:17, 23 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
