Where do we self-organize?

[edit]

I'd like to network informally with attendees about things related to the conference as well as other things going on in and near Berlin in April. Is there a wikipedia page (maybe even this one?) or (better) some more efficient groupware (a Discourse site, a slack site, IRC, an email list, ???) for us to do that? Hello Nealmcb, as soon as the registration is over (basically this week), all participants are added to a non-public mailing list. Furthermore, I'll create a Facebook event for this, and, of course, you can use this page here. And some weeks before the conference itself, I'll create a Telegram messenger group – one of the best tools to organize yourselves. Excellent - thank you Cornelius! In the future, it might help to mention some of that in the email that is sent out after registering, and/or in the site for next year's conference. Nealmcb (talk) 16:22, 16 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
Nealmcb Thanks for the feedback. As the registration process is already quite heavy, we don't want to overload it even more. You'll get a mail regarding further information (more or less) by next week. Cheers, --Cornelius Kibelka (WMDE) (talk) 16:39, 16 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
