Does not work.

E.g., in demonstrating a piped link only the second part works:

{{dm|[[a|b]]}} gives "{{{1}}} gives b", not "[[a|b]] gives b".

(it does not seem possible to make a template show a parameter value without interpreting it)

In demonstrating a template, the second part does not work either:

{{dm|{{POV}}}} gives "{{{1}}} gives

"

(a template call can not be a parameter)
