Template talk:Sisterproject

Untitled 2005[edit]

Might I ask who came up with the idea of using "link" as the parameter name for the article title? I'm having to fix Sisterproject client templates because people think (quite reasonably) that a "link" argument should read "[[project:Article title]]" instead of just "Article title". ~ Jeff Q (talk) 00:42, 13 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

In my template at b:Template:Generic project link, for example, "link" requires "[[project:Article title]]" ... this lets you fully customise the link. --Kernigh 03:32, 30 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I would usually "subst" this sort of template, as I would not want edits to Template:Sisterproject to change other templates like Template:Wikipedia. Thus, I removed the call to this template from Template:Wikipedia.

Actually, I prefer the code in b:Template:Generic project link to this template, so that is what I am using. --Kernigh 03:32, 30 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
