Template talk:Timc

Adding a default |Timc in the template to {{{1}}} everywhere resulted in {{{1|Timc}}}. Now the template displays its own code as expected. For the default value compare Help:Parameter default.

For templates with a noinclude part this template is usually not suitable for inclusion. Use Template:Tim instead, or substitute the template and remove the noinclude part.

no messy links

Per the Help:Advanced_templates "This page needs Cleanup...": All the talk / backlink links add to the mess. People reading about templates don't need these links. If they want to see those pages, then they can click on the template and go from there.
