The marathon takes place in different Wikipedias and each Wikipedia has its own prize fund and prizes.
Basically, gift cards and other souvenir prizes are drawn, to find out in detail which Wikipedia what has in prizes, visit our participating Wikipedia page and check the local pages of the marathon on Wikipedias.
All prizes are funded by a grant from the Wikimedia Foundation.
