After the introduction of the LocalisationUpdate extension on the Wikimedia projects, it is much easier to deal with the issues that exist for the Usability Initiative. There are two potential problems:
- Problems with the localisation of the software
- Problems with the MediaWiki software itself
As we have written on all Wikipedias, the best way to answer the first question is to visit translatewiki.net. Change the language to your language, select the “vector” skin and add the advanced tool bar in your preferences and check out the new functionality. Please make some changes in your user page in order to keep the disruption to translatewiki.net to a minimum. When there is a need to improve on the localisation, please make the necessary changes. It should update your localisation straight away so that you can see the effect.
- When there are issues left after the completion or the improvement of the localisations, we ask you to report here.
- Please have all issues for your language under one heading.
