Dear Vote X for Change.

Re: your query regarding unblock requests.

I have examined your case, and while it is technically unclear, the authority for repealing your block is likely to be the Arbitration Committee. That said, even if ArbCom agreed to hear your case, they would not have the authority to prevent you being immediately blocked again by the community for ban evasion and/or sock-puppetry, and would therefore be likely to refuse the appeal for this reason, so in effect you would have to successfully appeal both at Arbcom and AN to effect an unblock.

I will give my thoughts regarding the additional complexities as I see them.

You have caused what administrators would term "significant disruption". I see you were community banned some six years ago and since then have accumulated a substantial LTA report and a very long SPI page. You have at least not created any new sock accounts since 2010, before your community block, however you have rashly posted comments all over Wikipedia for 7 years using multiple IP addresses, which is ban evasion, and disruptive, therefore is sock-puppetry. As described in Wikipedia:Sock puppetry as "Logging out to make problematic edits as an en:IP address" and under en:WP:EVADE in the blocking policy. Your case has progressed already to the Wikimedia Foundation, see motion this, and this means possible permanent revocation of license to edit any Wikimedia project due to your violation of the terms of use, specifically section 4 "Refraining from Certain Activities". For all practical purposes this would be a final decision.

I have examined your contributions and it is entirely arguable whether your edits were a net benefit to the project, this does not help your position, as the "net benefit" test is stacked heavily against you. The viewpoint expressed by Jimbo on your complaints can be summed up as "The criticism is false and ludicrous" 84. So do not expect the (co)founder to get involved on your behalf. Fram who many consider to be "a bit harsh" is nevertheless a trusted administrator whose involvement in your case was with full community backing.

It is therefore my view that you should refrain from editing Wikipedia at all, for any reason, but especially to complain in any way about the administration. You should write a formal apology the WMF or ArbCom (whichever you prefer) and wait a minimum of 12 months without making any comments on Wikipedia before appealing your block, which you should do via a single email to the arbitration committee. If you would like to make a serious statement regarding your activities to the public, you should write a serious, well written and fully cited research blog post for Wikipediocracy, be aware that what you write will directly influence your chances of being unblocked, which are currently near zero.

In short, you have not helped yourself at all with your efforts to try and get unblocked. To become unblocked in your situation is unlikely.

Yours faithfully
