I work with some highly imaginative, entrepreneurial leaders to mentor organizations in leadership, innovation and strategy in order to accomplish missions and achieve business goals. Together we pioneer breakthrough practices to address complex problems, design innovative strategies and create enduring value.

I have lead, organized, designed and facilitated processes through which business, government, and civil society leaders worked together to address their toughest challenges. I have worked in more than a dozen countries, in every part of the world, with executives and politicians, generals, civil servants, police, trade unionists, community activists and United Nations officials, judges, writers, media, architects, designers, technologists, scientists, religious leaders and artists.

As an Independent Director on the boards of Public and Private Sector companies and NGO’s and as Vice Chairman of a public sector organization I have helped identify value, formulate missions, evolve strategies to build value and pursue missions successfully.

I participates in several environmental and nature conservation initiatives, have initiated a nation-wide agenda on democratic reform and have also also served as the first and only CIO of an Indian City. In my role as the CIO, Pune City I have enabled innovative projects that got the city acclaim and received the CIO 100 Award for 2008.

I have a PhD in Informatics and General Systems from the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. I enjoy travel, food, culture, nature and people when they let themselves be themselves.
