Objective Measures of Gauging Stakeholders' Reliability & Accuracy of Wiki Content

[edit]
  • Aim 1: Use Wikipedia, Wikiversity, Wikicommons, and Wikidata to address/patch/repair/mend the leaky pipeline for psychological assessments of [affect and arousal levels or energy?(affect instead of mood to include anxiety?)]
    • Aim 1A: Creating manuals for free evidence-based assessments [HCL, SCARED, GBI] that are accessible on relevant pages across wikiplatforms.
    • Aim 1B: Reduce barriers and facilitate implementation of these three EBAs in clinical and research work (acted on) by incorporating support materials (e.g., scoring guides, base rates, code, REDCap free virtual assessment w/ feedback of results, summary of normed data) to wiki platforms (manual in the cloud).
    • Aim 1C: Increase the impact of content on wiki platforms by connecting it with resources within the open science universe (OSF, Github, Zotero, PsyArXiv, etc.)
    • Aim 1D: Increase awareness and implementation of these EBAs by disseminating and introducing manuals to different audiences through social media, conferences, websites, and listservs.
  • Aim 2: Survey stakeholders (e.g., researchers, clinicians, academia) about credibility, usability, and feasibility of the manuals across Wikiplatforms and the open science integrations.
    • Aim 2A: Collect a wide variety of feedback on the manuals from different stakeholders and experts through surveys and focus groups.
    • Aim 2B: Process and apply feedback from stakeholders to improve the manuals across Wikiplatforms
    • Aim 2C: Update stakeholders on the changes made

This aligns well with the Movement Strategy Initiative of Methodology to improve User Experience as we are planning on running a research study designed by professionals who regularly design assessment batteries and are well respected for assessment design and implementation. Helping Give Away Psychological Science is committed to the free dissemination of quality psychological resources and can complement the goal of WMF for becoming the hub for all open-access data by 2030.

  • AIM 1A: OBJ 1- Creation of unified manual template
    • KR1: Identify crucial aspects (e.g., key articles, information to aggregate, report reliability, validity, which forms) that should be included in the manual as determined by the surveyed experts (https://psyarxiv.com/gjwy9/)
    • KR2: Creating checklist for steps to integrate the manual with each platform (e.g., osf, wikipedia, wikiversity)
    • KR3: Identify the state of each manual (i.e., what stage they are at and their status on each platform)
  • OBJ 2- Making the manual(s)
    • KR1: Updating literature search of targeted measures
    • KR2: Summarizing the literature and creating an annotated bibliography (i.e., literature review)
    • KR3: Fill out the checklist survey for creating the manual (i.e., O.1, KR.2)
    • KR4: Connect the manual across platforms
  • AIM 2: OBJ 3- Collecting Feedback about the Manuals
    • KR1: Creating the feedback survey (from O.1, KR.2)
    • KR2: Coding the survey into RedCap
