I am a graduate student at UVA (University of Virginia), pursuing my Masters in Data Science. I'm working on a bunch of interesting projects here and one of it happens to be in collaboration with the Trust & Safety Team at The Wikimedia Foundation on leveraging Data Science to combat harassment in the user community. During my research on this project, I've come to discover so much about the Wikipedia community and the abundance of data that resides here that can be utilized in many innovative ways. I'm now starting to explore that as a part of my pet projects. I hope that in doing so, I can contribute to this community as well. I'm a native of India and prior to my Masters, I completed my undergrad in Mathematics from the University of Delhi in 2015 and then worked in Analytics within the Financial Services sector in Alternative Investing. Apart from all things data, my interests are travel and travel blogging, photography, food culture, and aerial arts.
