About me
Roderick is a Filipino Wikimedian fascinated by capturing photographs and uploading them to Wikimedia Commons.
He has been involved with the Wikimedia movement since May 2021. As a contributor to Bikol Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons. He is affiliated with the Philippine Wikimedia Community user group. He participated the user group in the following local conferences:
- WikiCommons Philippines Conference 2023 with the theme "preserving Our Heritage: safeguarding Digital Assets Through Wkimedia" Held on December 17-19, 2023 at Avenue Plaza hotel & La Herencia comida in Naga City. (Participant)
- GLAM Wiki Conference Philippines 2024 with a theme "Empowering Communities Toward an Accessible Knowledge of Culture Heritage" at Vigan City, Ilocos Sur, Philippines (Participant)

My work
As a member of the Philippine Wikimedia Community, Roderick participated in different projects, activities, and initiatives of the UserGroup, contributing to its primary programs: Advocacy, Diversity, Education, GLAM, and Outreach Philippine Wikimedia Community (PH-WC).
He is also an active contributor to different Wikimedia Commons projects since 2021, such as the Wiki Loves Earth Philippines "Feminism and Folklore" "Wiki Loves Food" "Wiki GLAM" "Wiki GAP", Wikipedia Asian Month and others. With this effort, he was awarded as the best contributor with the most number of uploaded quality photos during the Wiki Love Earth Phillipines.
He is invaluable contribution as Facilitator during the WikiQuest: Journey through the World of Wikis with the theme "Quest for Wisdom: Unlocking the Wiki Mysteryies" Held at Villa Caroloina on April 6, 2024.
He is actively participating in the WikiGap Edit-a-thon 2024 with 133 edits and 964,452 characters held from March 9-31, 2024 at Naga City, Philippines.
He is outstanding dedication and impact contribution to knowledge equity through active participation in the WikiGap Edit-a-thon 2025-creating/editing an impressive 244 articles totaling 3,584,711 characters-held from March 1 to April 30, 2025, in Naga City, Philippines.
He is outstanding contribution to the sum of all free knowledge promoting diversity and filling knowledge gaps in Feminism and Folkflore on Wikipedia. He is awarded in the 22nd day of September 2024 at Malacanang ti Amianan in Paoay, Ilocos Norte, Philippines.
