Group of functionaries[edit]

Specifically to address private details regarding paid editor. Early consensus for creation of such a group here

Potential options:

  • Number: 5 (elected for three year terms)
  • Election run by Lane?
  • Legal coverage: Provided by the WMF

Drafting board proposal[edit]

"We support the creation of a new group of functionaries to help address concerns regarding paid editing. Our hope is that such a group will help balance the enforcement of our Terms of Use with our strong support for people being able to contribute to Wikipedia anonymously."

Campaign to raise awareness[edit]

Maybe by the WMF to inform people not to hire paid editors.
