Jewish cemetery in Strumica - once the cemetery for the jewish community in Strumica. There isn’t much information about them. Only one document dating 1932 is preserved. The jews who fled the city during the course of World War I took refuge in Skopje. They left their homes, the synagogue, the school, and the cemetery behind. They begged the government to determine the value of at least part of their property which has been claimed by the state, and the value to be repaid to the jewish community in Skopje which accepted them and provided aid. Among others things, the jews from Strumica write that the parcel for the jewish cemetery in Strumica was around 5500 square meters, and had been turned over.
