User:Halima Waziri

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

My name is Mrs. Halima Suleiman Waziri, a proud Nigerian of Hausa heritage from Kaduna South Local Government Area, Kaduna State. I am a Lecturer and Academic Librarian, passionate about open knowledge, digital inclusivity, revitalizing indigenous knowledge, and amplifying women’s voices, especially in underrepresented communities.

Since joining the Wikimedia movement in February 2024 as a volunteer, I’ve actively contributed to Wikipedia and its sister projects. I am especially dedicated to promoting women's inclusion in digital spaces, using Wikimedia as a powerful tool to bridge gender gaps and empower more women to share and document knowledge.
