I am the head of the Education Policy and Digital Cultural Commons team of Wikimedia Deutschland e.V..
Our "Digital Education, Democracy and Culture" team works to ensure that digital transformation benefits everyone by improving access to knowledge, education, and social participation. We help policymakers, administrators, cultural institutions, and schools make their teaching, content, collections, and data freely accessible to the public. We also support them in building the necessary organizational structures. Additionally, we promote democratic participation in the digital sphere, guided by the principles of openness and transparency—which are essential for a sustainable society.
